Seamless gutter installation and replacement in Columbus
Most gutter replacement in Columbus, Ohio is the same job: a 1990s or 2000s two-story with builder-grade sectional aluminum that leaks at every seam and sags at every hanger. We take it down and run seamless aluminum sized for the roof, in a day, with the old material hauled off.
Why replacement is the main job here
Franklin County roughly doubled its housing stock between 1985 and 2015, and most of that growth was vinyl-sided two-story homes in Dublin, Hilliard, Westerville, Gahanna, Grove City, Reynoldsburg and Pickerington. The builders put up the cheapest gutter that passed inspection: .025 or .027 sectional aluminum in 10-foot pieces, spike hangers, 2x3 downspouts, one per run. Those systems are now 15 to 35 years old and have been through several hundred freeze-thaw cycles. The seams weep, the spikes have backed out, and half the downspouts end at the foundation.
You can reseal a seam. You can't reseal twenty of them every spring. Materials and hardware

Seamless aluminum installed is about $9–$14 per linear foot in central Ohio. A 160-foot single-story is typically $1,500–$2,300; a 200-foot two-story with six downspouts, $2,100–$3,200. Homes with no gutters, or only some
Some Columbus homes — 1950s ranches on the Hilltop and in Whitehall, plenty of detached garages — have no gutters or only a front run. If there's a trench in the mulch under the eave and the basement is wet on that side, that's why. How long does gutter replacement take?
One day for most homes. We measure and quote on the first visit, the coil and color are ordered, and the crew does the tear-off, any fascia repair and the new install on the same day. Large two-story homes with many inside corners or a lot of fascia work can run into a second morning, and we'll say so up front.
Should I get 5-inch or 6-inch gutters in Columbus?

Yes. Older homes in Upper Arlington, Bexley and Clintonville often have exposed rafter tails or a crown molding where the fascia would be. We use roof-strap hangers or install a fascia board first, and half-round gutters on the same brackets the house was built for. Both options are priced on the estimate.
